How to use this forum

Posted on
  • This is a forum to inform, share events, resources and ideas, and provide a place in which to support one another in furthering wellbeing and brain health.

By creating a community of people interested in making a difference, it is hoped that a network will grow in which people will be supported in thinking about and promoting high quality, person-centred, inclusive, accessible, and sustainable activity and interventions.

Currently under development, and in the hands of those who wish to use it, it provides an easily searchable resource, and the opportunity to set up your own private forum for members you select. Information, ideas, suggestions and resources are not lost in threads over time. Debate and discussion is welcomed, needs to be carried out in the spirit of curiosity, with respect for different viewpoints, and above all for people living with dementia, or any other disability, their families and friends. It is reasonable to challenge other people's ideas if your view can be supported, it is not reasonable to be offensive to the person holding those ideas, and it is very good practice to learn how to communicate any idea in a manner that anybody can read it without offence. Admin reserve the right to remove threads that are deemed offensive or off topic. Please contact @Clare if you have any concerns about a contribution. Thank you.
